Library Cards

Students, Faculty, Academic Professionals, Staff and Administration
May borrow items with their college photo ID (issued at the Dining Services office).
Alumni:
Must get an alumni picture ID from the ID office and register with the library to borrow items.
Dickinson College Family members
May use the library with restricted access to some items. We ask that the family member who works at Dickinson send an e-mail to Maureen Dermott with the names of his/her partner and/or children or fill out a Dickinson Family card application at the Circulation Desk.
ACLCP (Associated College Libraries of Central Pennsylvania) faculty and students
Can borrow under ACLCP guidelines. ACLCP borrower cards are issued with a photographic ID from the home institution.
Friends of the Dickinson College Library
Receive membership cards (issued by the Archivist in Special Collections).
Area high school students
Issued cards by their high school librarian. We work with Cumberland and Perry county high schools that have agreed to follow our policy for high school borrowers. We also arrange group tours and group instructions for many high school classes. Please refer to our Outside Group Use of the Library guidelines for more information.
Other Cumberland County and Perry County
Patrons receive library cards upon payment of $40.00.
